Darren Hawthorne Westwoodr, or Darren, is mostly defined by the term ‘guy-next-door’. Thanks to his mother and father, who raised him well even in a rather well off position; you can call it as ‘born with a silver spoon in his mouth’, Darren had acquired good moral standing and good manners to boot. However, he was once very rebellious, just because he felt like being different and being reckless in his teenage years. He managed to tone it down extensively, up to the point that he would really fool anyone when met for the first time. Darren was born in Los Angeles, California, and is born into a good rich family. However the wealth never did blind the whole family, as proven by his upbringings. He went to high school just like any kid out there and moved to the small town here and went to college, has a part-time job as a DJ at 97.9 Rock FM, a local radio station and has a lot of good times and most bad times at certain intervals. He was known as a slight rebel, having acquired the image as he does not want to be associated with the rich prudes that were in the school. He was still quite the normal guy in school; drives a classic American Mustang, and does not mind eating at the greasy spoon.

Darren is very easygoing and very relaxed in his life, preferring to relax and just mellow out at times, and is also an avid fan of American muscle cars; he owns an old school Mustang he took from a local junkyard and used some of his money to restore it. He is deceptively charming, even if he never realizes it at times; playing down the fact terribly that he was not flirting or trying something on someone. He thinks of his family’s wealth as just some sort of an extra bonus in his life, and he never felt that by being rich, he was special. Being a radio DJ for the local station has acquired him with people-friendly skills that he kept with himself; making him slightly a man with a lot of common sense. He is quite stubborn when he sets his mind into doing something, though, and no amount of coaxing would budge him at times. Darren can sometimes be a slight reckless guy, and a bit of a thrill-seeker; he blames that from his early days being a rebel at school. He considers himself a social drinker, and he appreciates a good drink and a great party atmosphere. Darren is also quite open minded, a trait he considers a blessing and a curse at times. He loves Jacksonville and the surfs, which is the reason why he took up surfing as a pastime. He also loves to drive his Mustang around when he gets the chance, just for the drive.

Darren mainly has work-friends, having acquired a buddy-buddy relationship with the workers at the station where he works. Being open and friendly also makes him pretty much an open book and pretty much chatty if anyone approaches him for a chat or two. That, and because his job trains him to interact with people. He can get more friends from pretty much any walks of life.

Darren would have enemies as well; people who get under his skin go here. People who annoys the heck out of him just because he’s a lowly DJ and the sorts could be listed in his enemies. The list can go on ranging from being too friendly with a female student up to pissing off his friends would be asking trouble in this department. He also hates the people who bring up his past mistakes, for anyone who knows about it, of course.

Darren’s slightly a hopeless romantic, but he never admits that to himself, or to anyone else. He would flirt, he would sweet talk, but he always never notices that he really did all that. He has had one-night-stands before, and had relationships but that’s just about it. He broke off his longest relationship with an old flame, so that can pop out sooner or later. All in all, He’s pretty open to love, but would take it as such anyways; he only sees one as just being puppydog love, although that can easily change.

I think these two would make very good friends or possibly more, or have something but dont notice it. Since he is well mannered and relaxed while Skylar is more High strung in the sense that she really wants to get some were in life. I think that they would balance each other out

well, that is a good idea. Darren would see her as quite attractive, minus the fact that she is high strung. he might teach her a thing or two about being real and being normal. but in any case, good friends is good, maybe more is good too, we'll see.
