Twenty-Two//Manipulative//Wild//Broken
The exotic beauty you see before you wasn't always so beautiful. Growing up Mia was what you would call the ugly duckling. She was awkward not only in her looks but in her personality preferring football to dance, and a group of close guy friends. She only actually had one girl she would even consider calling a friend and they weren't even that close because of the boys she did hang around with.
Then came middle school, and puberty. Mia's mother moved her away from the friends she did have back to New York where her step father was originally from before they had married. Family changes, home changes, and body changes sent her into mass confusion and when those changes began happening her step father started noticing. The notice and interest he took in her though was of the unhealthy kind and no matter how she told her mother, she refused to believe her, that the man who had done so much for them could do that to her daughter. Instead she accused Mia of trying to separate them and move home, attempts at anything to get him out of their lives.
This went on for years and Mia had no way out of it as she spiraled out of control during her high school years. Alcohol, sex, a few experiments with drugs among other things, losing all sense of who she was and her life. When she was old enough she moved out into a dump of an apartment with some of those people who had introduced her to her wild ways continuing her down fall there in New York until they were kicked out of their apartment and she was left with no where else to go.
Coming back home was Mia's last hope to get away from the nightmare that was her life. She isn't nearly the mess she has been in the past but still carries some of those wild ways she had before. She hasn't managed to find herself a job since arriving and jumps around living with random people and guys using her looks to get her what she needs. Although Mia can be manipulative and conniving it is only her hard outer shell , a means of survival to cover her big heart and completely broken insides.
